This is Ted the Tiger.
He is named after my father-in-law, who was born in the Year of the Tiger. In spring 2017, Ted was diagnosed with prostate cancer and will soon begin radiotherapy. He's been cancer free as of Summer 2018!
This t-shirt was designed to raise awareness for men's health.
- Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Canadian men
- When detected early, prostate cancer survival rates are better than 98%. Find it late, and those survival rates drop below 26%
